Can you believe it is only one week until EdCamp Winnipeg 2014?

If something has come up and you are unable to attend, please let us know so we can pass along your ticket to the next person on the waiting list. Your ticket is not transferrable.

Take a moment to shout out some love to our generous sponsors on our sponsor page. Thanks to them, the day is free to you AND we are able to offer you a light morning nibble, a great lunch, as well as some snacks throughout the day. In addition we have some amazing goodies to hand out including online memberships, app codes, a few t-shirts, and some pretty substantial sponsor gifts.

In particular we need to thank ManACE, Pembina Trails School Division, IPEVO, The Manitoba Teachers’ Society and Red River College for their most generous support for EdCamp Winnipeg.

Bring your device/laptop/tablet, there will be lots of opportunity to share online as well as in person. We encourage you to Tweet throughout the day using the hashtag #EdCampWPG.  A QR Code reader, and a way to access GoogleDrive will allow you to make the most of the online collaborative experience. If you’ve never used twitter or GoogleDrive, one of our volunteers can help you out with that when you arrive.

The location of EdCamp Winnipeg is Henry G Izatt Middle School at 960 Scurfield Blvd. Parking is available in a lot adjacent to the school, or on Scurfield Blvd. Please do not park in the bus loop in front of the school. When you arrive, please present your Eventbrite ticket on paper or on your device to receive your name tag. Check-in is from 8:00 am to 8:30 am. At 8:30 am we will kick off the event.

Finally, there will be an after party at Boston Pizza on Kenaston after EdCamp wraps up for the day. It will be a fun opportunity to relax and continue conversations you started during the event.

We’re looking forward to a great day with all of you!
